DT: Scary Cat Box Cat

Dear Scrappers,

This is Veronica from Vicky's Scrapping Passion sharing with you a another box card, I created using the svg file from this month's sponsor: halloween-paperscape-box-cards-svg-bundle.

This card was super quick to cut and assemble:

I used some black, orange, lighter orange and barn red cardstock from CTMH, printed black CTMH paper, and some glittery Recollection printed paper for the title, and some rhinestones for the cats eyes.

I stamped  the title and sentiment using some old Halloween TH stamps and clear CTMH ink. Then I added some orange glittery embossing powder to the title and sentiment to make them shine some more, BTW, I handwrote  the sentiment using a versamark marker.

Finally I added a Jack-O-Lantern light to the box card:

I hope you enjoy  my third box card, for more pictures, please visit my blog here:

YouTube Tuesday-Amazing Craft Product Photos on a Budget

Hi folks.  It's Kim from Katydid Cards sharing a great video with you today.

I don't know about you, but I find it so frustrating to spend hours making a craft project and can't wait to share it on my blog only to find out the pictures I took are dark, blurry or don't show that project in the way I had hoped.

I found this video by Leo Kowal of Dreaming Tree and found it extremely helpful, so I'm hoping you will get some great pointers from it as well.

Here you go:

If your picture taking improves after watching this video, I sure hope you will share your positive outcome here in the comments section and give Leo a thumb's up, too.

Dreaming Tree is the sponsor of both our Challenge and Blog Hop this month and are generously providing prizes for one lucky participant in each.

The time is right for you to try out one of Dreaming Tree's files as our monthly challenge is "To Die For".  Your project can be anything using a die or an e-cutter.  You can link up or find additional details here.  Hope to see YOUR project among the entries!

Have a wonderful day, see you again soon.

Treat Bag Trio

Pin It Hello folks! It's Kim from Katydid Cards and it's my day to post here at Connie Can Crop with my design team project using some adorable cut files from our sponsor this month, Dreaming Tree.

For my project this month, I used the Count Treat Bag, Frank Treat Bag, and Trixi Treat Bag.  You can also purchase them, plus two more files in the Frank & Friends Bundle for a discounted price.  So, here's my trio:

I used the assembly videos to make these, no guessing where all the pieces should go.  They thought of everything when creating these bags; such attention to detail.   My blog has individual pictures if you're interested in seeing them.

These bags will be used to give treats to three little ones on our block; Ryan, Connor, and Kylie.  And these bags are a generous size, so they'll be getting quite a few goodies in them...like one-stop shopping!

Don't forget about Connie Can Crop's monthly challenge, To Die For.  Your project can be anything using a die or an e-cutter...including anything from Dreaming Tree.  Don't have any Dreaming Tree files yet?  No problem!  Check out their freebies

You can get additional details about the challenge or link up your project by clicking here.

Hello!  Christi here from Scrapping For Tranquility, this months Guest DT.  I am VERY honored Connie is having me back again.  I want to thank you for joining me here at Connie Can Crop this month for this months Challenge of:

Our sponsor this month for To Die For is :

What a great sponsor huh???

I want to share with you what I made from dreaming tree with my die cuts:

The Chilling Chandelier by Dreaming Tree.
This was sooo fun to make!

It has bats around the top with vellum windows around it which I put battery operated lights inside to light it up.

It then has a large spider and bats that hang from it.

I used glittered paper for the bats and spider .

You can make them any colors you want but I made mine Purple , Black and Green.  My daughter was married on Halloween and these were her wedding colors.

Halloween is her favorite holiday .

I wanted to make her something special to hang in her house for the holiday.

She loved it!

Thank you for joining me and hope you enjoyed my project.

Blessings,
